Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 19 July 2026

Welcome to TensorTonic. By accessing or using this website and platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use TensorTonic.

TensorTonic is currently an independently operated platform. These terms form a binding agreement between you (the "User") and the creator/operator of TensorTonic.

Important: All content on TensorTonic, including our comprehensive ML Math educational materials, is protected by copyright. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited and will be pursued legally.

01Introduction

TensorTonic ("we", "our", "the Platform") is an interactive learning platform where users build machine learning algorithms from scratch through hands-on coding challenges, explore foundational ML mathematics, and engage with research-level concepts through guided problem-solving.

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Platform, including all content, coding environments, features, and services provided.

02Eligibility & Account Use

You must be at least 13 years old to use TensorTonic. If local law requires a higher minimum age to consent to an online service or the processing of personal data, you may use TensorTonic only with the authorization of a parent or guardian where such authorization is permitted by law.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any sign-in credentials and all activity under your account.

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform or coding infrastructure
  • Upload malicious, harmful, or illegal code
  • Use TensorTonic to train or deploy harmful AI systems
  • Share other users' content or paid materials without permission

03Use of Code Execution Environment

TensorTonic may execute code via third-party infrastructure such as sandboxes or cloud environments.

Your code runs in an isolated environment, but:

  • We do not guarantee complete security for sensitive data
  • You should not upload personal, confidential, or production credentials
  • Code execution is best effort: processing time, runtime failures, or resets may occur
  • Any misuse may lead to suspension

04Payments & Subscriptions

TensorTonic offers a free tier and paid Pro and Plus subscriptions. Current features and advertised prices are shown on the Pricing page. The final price, billing interval, currency, discounts, and applicable taxes are shown before you confirm a purchase.

Payment provider and seller of record: TensorTonic uses Dodo Payments for checkout, payments, and subscription administration. For transactions processed under Dodo Payments' merchant-of-record service, Dodo Payments is the authorized reseller and legal seller and handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable indirect taxes, refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. The seller or merchant of record for your transaction is identified at checkout or on your receipt. Any buyer terms and privacy notices presented during checkout also apply.

Recurring billing: Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and renew automatically until canceled. By subscribing, you authorize the seller or payment provider identified at checkout to charge your selected payment method for each renewal, including applicable taxes. Unless an offer at checkout expressly states otherwise, paid subscriptions do not include a free trial.

Plan changes: Upgrades generally take effect immediately and may include a prorated charge or credit. Downgrades generally take effect on the next billing date. The exact immediate charge, credits, taxes, new recurring price, and effective date are displayed before you confirm a plan change. A failed payment may prevent a plan change.

Cancellation: You can manage or cancel a subscription through the billing portal available from your account. If cancellation is scheduled for the next billing date, paid access normally continues until the end of the current paid period. If you select an immediate cancellation option, or if access is suspended or terminated for nonpayment or a Terms violation, paid access may end earlier.

Failed payments: If a renewal or other charge fails, we or the payment provider may retry the charge, prevent a requested plan change, suspend paid access, or return the account to the free tier until payment is resolved.

Refunds: Subscription charges are generally non-refundable once processed, except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by the seller or merchant of record identified on your receipt. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights. Contact support@tensortonic.com with your order information to request billing assistance.

Price changes: We may change subscription prices or features. We will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law before a new price applies to a renewal. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.

"Fair use" as defined by copyright law does not extend to wholesale copying, systematic reproduction, or commercial exploitation of our educational content.

10Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

TensorTonic is provided "as-is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that solving questions will lead to a job or internship, that all solutions will be fully correct, or that platform availability will be uninterrupted.

11Termination of Access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate user accounts immediately and without prior notice if:

  • These Terms are violated, including any content protection provisions
  • Malicious code is detected or the platform's integrity is at risk
  • We suspect unauthorized copying, scraping, or redistribution of content
  • The account is used for competitive intelligence or commercial exploitation

Termination does not limit our right to pursue other legal remedies.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TensorTonic, its creator, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights

13Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of TensorTonic shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts.

14Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. If material updates occur, users will be notified through the platform or email. Where required, we will request affirmative acceptance of the updated Terms. Otherwise, continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.

04Payment Processing & Service Providers

Dodo Payments directly collects and processes payment method and billing details for paid purchases. TensorTonic does not directly receive or store full card numbers or full bank-account credentials in its application database.

To create and administer a purchase, we may provide Dodo Payments with your email address, TensorTonic user identifier, selected product, and an existing Dodo customer identifier. We receive and retain the billing and transaction records described above so that we can provide paid access, synchronize subscription status, assist with billing issues, and meet legal and financial obligations.

For purchases processed under its merchant-of-record service, Dodo Payments processes buyer data as an independent controller under its Privacy Policy. The seller or merchant of record for a transaction is identified at checkout or on your receipt.

We may also share the minimum personal information reasonably necessary with vendors that provide hosting, authentication, email, analytics, customer support, security, and code-execution infrastructure. We may disclose information where required by law or when reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, protect rights and safety, enforce our agreements, or respond to legal process. We do not sell or rent your personal information.

07Data Security

We take data protection seriously:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS (SSL encryption)

  • Code runs in isolated environments to protect system integrity

However, no system is 100% secure; users should avoid uploading sensitive or personal data in code.

08Content Protection Monitoring

To protect our intellectual property and educational content, we may:

  • Monitor access patterns and usage behavior for signs of automated scraping or bulk downloading
  • Log IP addresses and user agents that exhibit suspicious activity
  • Use technical measures to detect and prevent unauthorized content extraction

This monitoring is conducted solely to protect TensorTonic's copyrighted content and does not involve profiling for marketing purposes.

09Children's Privacy

TensorTonic is not intended for children under 13 or any higher minimum age required by applicable local law unless valid authorization from a parent or guardian has been provided where permitted by law.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age without any authorization required by law. If you believe a child has provided personal data in violation of this policy, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

10Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If significant changes are made, we will notify users via the platform or email.

Where required by law, we will provide notice or request consent before a material change takes effect.
